Much of my career growth in the professional painting industry can be attributed to my job experiences working as a painter and estimator for The Home Depot. The company provided me with numerous opportunities to grow and learn, eventually leading to my desire to start Languren Painting, LLC.

One of the highlights of my career was working on The Extreme Makeover home in Waleska, GA, Season 4, Episode 19. It was a very powerful experience, both as a painter and as a person helping a family who first lost a son in a car accident and then started building a house only to be robbed by the builder who never completed it. To make it right, our team worked at the house approximately 31 hours straight with a crew of 35 painters on-site among the approximately 250 other people completing others jobs at the same time, day and night over one week. Then, before the family returned from vacation for the unveiling, we were back to complete a final touch-up as a finishing touch. The experience was moving and nearly beyond words.
